My tip for today
Aphids hate citrus…who knew! So grate lemon skins (I assume you could use other citrus peel) boil in water for 30 mins, place aside to go cold, then use the water around the base of plants. Spray the plant with the juice and water.
Now please tell me if I am wrong!!
I had read as well to put citrus peel on the plants. I had some grapefruit that had started to go off so have put them around my caulis will keep you posted.

Is it my imagination or are the vege plants going gangbusters this spring? We seem to have more growth at home than usual for this time of the year.
The wind has been knocking them around but a bit of weed cloth stapled around some ski poles in the ground has done the trick.
